Commodity strengthens its oil franchise

SINGAPORE 9th January 2009.
We are pleased to announce that Gayathri Santhirasegaran has joined the Commodity team in Singapore. Gayathri is the 3rd hire in Commodity’s expanding Asia Pacific operation in the last 2 months. She will report to Tim Spragg, Director – Asia Pacific.

Gayathri has 10 years experience in the energy and financial markets with a focus on Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. Prior to joining Commodity, she held the portfolio of Vice-President OTC Energy Derivatives/Crude Oil at MF Global Singapore. Her initial experience in the energy markets was as Senior Editor for Platts. Her dealings with the industry also involved travels through Asia to make presentations on developments and changes within the marketplace.
