Commodity strengthens European team with hires in agri and coal

Hampshire 9th January 2009. Stephen Maxwell and Gareth Hudson have joined the Commodity team in the UK. Stephen brings 25 years of international grain trading experience in the soft commodities sector. He has held senior trading and management positions with Continental Grain as European Wheat Trader and UK General Manager and with Grainfarmers Plc as Grain Trading Director. Stephen will focus on the softs and agri sectors working closely with Commodity’s offices in Asia and Switzerland. Stephen will split his time between Commodity's offices in the UK, Geneva and his home in France. Gareth brings over 15 years of experience in the energy complex with a range of companies, financial institutions, trading houses and utilities. Most recently he has been working with both physical and financial aspects of the Coal market. He will work closely with the existing energy team in the UK and Singapore.
